ACTIVITIES

Field visits

Once the research phase of the project had been completed, the field visits began. Each partner organisation hosted the others in its own country, offering participants the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into its local context, working environment and community setting.

This second phase of the project was designed to foster direct observation, peer learning and the exchange of working practices, skills and methods for organising youth activities.

Each field visit lasted one week. During this time, the host organisation arranged training sessions, workshops and visits to relevant local initiatives and places of interest.

Trainings

Following the field visits, and after gaining a better understanding of each local context, each association organised an online training course based on its own areas of expertise.

The training courses aimed to strengthen the skills and competences of the organisations’ staff and volunteers through a peer-learning approach. They also helped promote international collaboration among the partner associations, supported the joint development of shared training tools, introduced common ways of evaluating non-formal education activities, and improved the digital skills of the organisations involved.
